About Angela Ellis
Mrs. Angela Ellis is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Angela completed her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Arlington and earned her master’s degree in nursing from Western Governors University. After more than 20 years of nursing experience in telemetry, special procedures, and social work, Angela returned to school during the COVID-19 pandemic and obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from The University of Cincinnati in 2023.
As a Psychiatric Practitioner, Angela strives to collaborate with her patients and provide support in a safe, welcoming space. She is committed to helping patients work toward improved mental health, wholeness, and overall well-being through a collaborative approach to care.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys family gatherings and spending time with her fur baby.

The NP there is so thorough and she ACTIVELY LISTENS. I read through some of the 4 star reviews and it seems that time is an issue. To that I will say this. Angela prepared me for the wait on my first visit. She explained that she tries to give as much time to each individual as is needed to do her job as thoroughly for the patient as possible. As the patient, with the expectation set, I’m okay with that. I may have to wait a little while longer, but for someone who has struggled to be SEEN and HEARD her ENTIRE life, I appreciate it. So THANK YOU, Ms. Angela Ellis for taking the time to actually provide patient CARE and not just manage illnesses.

My Mom is receiving excellent med management services from Angela Ellis. She is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The wait time whether in office or teleconference appointment is always an issue..1 hr+. Otherwise we would rate a 5 star.
