Dr. Tracey Cawthorn is psychiatrist with a board certification in General Adult Psychiatry and a board certification in the Geriatric Psychiatry subspecialty through the ABPN. She completed her medical school, general psychiatry residency, and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) after completion of her intern year of general psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. During my career, she has been able to provide treatment for patients in multiple settings including outpatient clinics, acute inpatient hospital units, post-acute care facilities, acute crisis stabilization units, skilled nursing facilities, teaching facilities, and specialized treatment centers. She has served as medical director of both an acute inpatient psychiatric unit, an outpatient clinic, and a long term care practice.
Dr. Cawthorn has extensive experience in other areas such as neuropsychiatric disorders, psychosomatic disorders, primary sleep disorders, refractory severe psychotic disorders, ECT, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, severe illness in the San Antonio State Hospital system, acute traumatic brain disorder, acute spinal cord injuries, and addiction medicine with focus on detox, dual diagnosis, and maintenance of sobriety. Dr. Cawthorn offers telehealth services to residents of long term care facilities, routine home outpatient care, and detention center inmates who require mental health services.
Mrs. Pasquale, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After attending, Health Careers High School and completing her undergraduate studies at University of Texas at San Antonio, she graduated from Walden University. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds her board certification as a Psychiatric – Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked 8 in an inpatient psychiatric facility at Methodist Specialty and Transplant which included working with varying forms of mental disorders and substance abuse. She completed her residency at the Center for Health Care Services, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center, and outpatient private facilities.
During her free time, she has partnered with her local church to serve the homeless population around San Antonio. She enjoys working out, eating healthy and a holistic approach to treatment. She is passionate about mental health care within the community and providing individualized care to help meet her client’s needs.
Ms. Zamora, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC was born and raised in San Antonio. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds board certification as a Psychiatric – Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After attending San Antonio’s Health Careers High School and Wayland Baptist University in New Braunfels as an undergrad student, Ms. Zamora attended Walden University where she graduated Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She excelled in nursing school and completed her residency at The San Antonio State Hospital and with the Bexar County Justice program, both inpatient and outpatient clinics for clients with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Ms. Zamora brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Psychiatry of San Antonio. She is passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional care.
Ms. Zamora is a member of the prestigious American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Ms. Zamora’s other professional memberships include the Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association.
Mr. Labrado is originally from El Paso, Texas where he began his career in healthcare. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from New Mexico State University in 2007. In El Paso, he worked in Emergency Care until 2010 when he moved to San Antonio, Texas. After completing 10 years in Emergency Care and two more in Intensive Care Units, he went onto become a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner through the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. Currently, he is working towards a board certification in the specialization of Psychiatry, which is his passion. Mr. Labrado is a true professional, fluent in English and Spanish, dedicated to developing trusting relationships with his patients while practicing and providing care that is compassionate and evidenced based.
During his free time, he enjoys spending time with is wife and two sons. He also likes to give back to his community by participating in an automobile enthusiasts organization which provides Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts to families in need.
